Rentals can start at any time during our opening hours and are based on a 24 hour period. For 4 hour hires the latest hire is 4 hours before closing time at the Branch you hire the van from. If you hire less than 4 hours from closing time the van has still to be returned before we close.Overnight hires are from the last hour of trading till 9am the next morning’

Cars – 3 days minimum hire: UNLIMITED Mileage (Own Fuel).

Vans & Minibuses – 100 miles per day free of charge. (Own Fuel)

We accept payments by most major Credit / Debit cards and cash. We also accept payments by Maestro and Delta. Please note if payment is made by Cash or Debit ,Maestro and Delta Card we would also require Credit Card Details to cover for any excess payments. For trips to Europe please contact us in the first instance.

What documentation do I need to bring with me when hiring a vehicle? 2017-10-30T15:54:48+00:00

To hire a vehicle, you must bring a valid drivers licence and proof of your address (acceptable documents include utility bills and bank or credit card statements issued within the last 3 months). Please note that all drivers with a UK driving licence must produce a Code from the DVLA website called ‘Share My Licence’.

My license is at the DVLA to be updated, can I still hire? 2017-10-24T19:35:00+00:00

Yes, but there will be a small charge as we need to call the DVLA when you arrive at the branch. Please bring 2 proof of address items with you and a Passport.

Is there any age restriction when hiring a vehicle? 2022-02-24T08:25:42+00:00

Drivers must be 25 or over for all vehicle groups and have held a license for a minimum of 2 years. Drivers over the age of 70 years and under 75 can still be insured by us but there will be a slight increase in the excess.

Is there an insurance excess charge? 2017-10-24T19:33:52+00:00

Yes. An excess will be charged for incidence of damage. Excess amount is subject to driver qualification. Excess waiver is included in the daily rate given. This cover reduces the excess from £2000 to £500 for all drivers.

I passed my test in the last year, can I hire? 2017-10-27T14:14:07+00:00

No, our insurance requires that drivers must have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year and be over 25 years old ( 2 years or more for minibuses and MPV’s ).

I have booked with an airport location, what if my flight is delayed? 2017-10-24T19:30:45+00:00

If possible please let us know as soon as you are aware that your flight has been delayed. If you arrive after our office has closed please call the mobile number in our Contact Us page.

No – you must be over 25 and have held a license for a minimum of 2 years

How much do additional drivers cost? 2017-10-24T19:29:14+00:00

There is a £10 charge for each additional driver. There are no limitations on the amount of additional drivers, but each driver must produce a FULL licence as detailed in the Terms and Conditions.

Does the price include insurance? 2017-10-24T19:28:34+00:00

All prices quoted include Collision Damage Insurance ( CDW ) which covers our vehicle, passengers and any third parties. It does not cover injury to the driver or damage to/theft of personal effects or goods.

Do you supply your vehicles with a full tank of fuel? 2017-10-24T19:27:31+00:00

Our vehicles come with the fuel that was left by the previous customer.We ask that you return the vehicle with the same amount of fuel or a charge will be made.

Do you accept pre-paid credit cards? 2017-10-24T19:26:54+00:00

No, most of these cards are blocked if you try to use them for Car Rental. We require a standard credit/debit card to be shown at the time of rental in case of any additional charges

Can you supply vehicles with an automatic transmission? 2017-10-24T19:26:14+00:00

Yes. We have a selection of models available in different sizes

Can I take a rental vehicle to Europe? 2017-10-24T19:25:37+00:00

European rentals are allowed but can only be taken by prior arrangement. Customers are responsible for travel insurance costs and European breakdown recovery for vehicle and passengers. Additional charges will apply. Please call or email for a quote.

Can I pick up a vehicle at one of your locations and drop it off at another? 2017-10-24T19:24:58+00:00

Yes you can, provided you get authorisation from the branch you hired the vehicle from

Can I hire if I have penalty points on my license? 2017-10-24T19:24:17+00:00

There are limits so please call to check before making a reservation if you are in any doubt. Unfortunately we cannot accept any points on a licence for drivers between the ages of 25 – 30 on Minibus Hires
